Our working model is based on working together in partnership. At BK Royston Publishing, we want to create the best possible book for you and your brand. Other companies have a business model that they know what's best for you and your book but this is YOUR intellectual property and it can be bequeathed to the next generation. With your vision and our expertise, we can create something wonderful that will last through multiple generation.
With you in mind, each project, book and author has a customized experience with BK Royston Publishing. No person is the same and neither is their book.
BUT it starts with a conversation.
The First Book...
I was so young on this book cover. I was so proud of this book too. I sang since I was 8 years old and have written more than 40 songs. For the first book release, I combined my love of music along with my poetry for a one woman show. I hired the engineer to record the concert live, I hired a videographer to video tape and I had a musician who, with no rehearsal, we did the entire concert in one take.
How I got to this first book was only God. I didn't know that I had written a book because I hid my first book in 80 count notebooks for more than 10 years. I was in grad school and got my first degree and then moved from grad school to my next job and still carried those same notebooks with me.
In 2006, I married Brian Royston and God said, "It's time to put the book together." I obeyed. I didn't like my first publishing experience with this first book. After a coffee conversation, decided never to publish myself moving forward. I also started a publishing company and now, here we are.
